陶淵明的敞篷轎

沒屋頂的車子叫敞篷車，同樣的，沒屋頂的轎子應可叫坐敞篷轎，這是陶淵明有一次去朋友家，因為沒酒喝，所以不高興的叫了這種敞篷轎走人。畫中題款是這樣的：｢無酒：其款為：佛法甚遠，米汁甚邇，吾不能去彼而就此。｣原來東晉名僧慧遠法師曾邀請陶淵明加入蓬社，陶淵明以准許飲酒為條件。 但到了之後，發現根本沒有為他準備酒，發覺上當了，便乘籃輿（ 竹製敞篷轎）攢眉而去。
